Visitor,

The Alcohol & Other Drugs Educational Conference at CSU Chico is fast approaching; the program is being set, and registration is open.

CSU Chico is continuing the conference tradition of honoring some attendees with awards from a number of categories.  The nomination process for these awards has been extended to March 15th.  For more information visit here.  Here is a quick blurb on what the awards are all about:

Each year the CSU-sponsored Alcohol & Other Drugs Educational Conference acknowledges individuals who have contributed to their campuses by doing innovative prevention activities, been great leaders, role models or advisors. Nominees may have conducted research that shows promising results in the field of prevention or intervention with students struggling with alcohol or other drug abuse. Campuses many submit one nomination for each category listed. Please limit the nominations to no more the 500 words.  Strong applications should provide specific examples that identify the nominee's qualifications for the award.  The categories are: Student Leadership, Student Club or Organization, Alcohol and other Drug Champion, Violence Prevention, Peer Education Advisor, and the Chancellor's award.

So don't miss out on this opportunity to recognize someone from your campus.

Hope to see you in Chico,

Jim
