Communities Talk: Town Hall Meetings to Prevent Underage and High-Risk Drinking

SAMHSA has asked The Network to disseminate information about their Town Hall Meetings funding opportunity:

In 2014, more than 1,300 communities hosted Town Hall Meetings to help find local solutions to underage drinking. Over 110 institutions of higher education participated in the 2014. Campuses and/or communities that wish to receive a SAMHSA invitation to host a Town Hall Meeting in January 2016 can email Tom Colthurst: sending him contact name, title, email address and phone number.

Invitees are eligible for a $500 planning stipend to plan one or more Town Hall Meetings at any time during the year. A limited number of stipends are available which will be distributed on a first-come, first-served, basis beginning in January 2016. More information can be found at https://www.stopalcoholabuse.gov/townhallmeetings/.
