The California Alcohol Tobacco & Other Drug Education Conference, sponsored by the CSU, has announced their call for program proposals. The conference will be held on the CSU Channel Islands campus, April 3rd and 4th. The theme is Forecasting the Future: Intervention Today, Prevention Tomorrow, and conference planners hope to elicit exciting proposals that will help attendees bring back useful programs that meet student needs and support current system-wide efforts. The deadline for proposal submissions is February 14th.
Last year's conference saw a record number of program submission entries; all indications are that this year may surpass that record. So, submissions should be carefully crafted, fully developed, and have supporting evidence and justification for inclusion within the program. For more information, see the conference website.
